Your notes never leave your phone.
Notewake has no servers of its own, no accounts, and no analytics. Nothing you write is transmitted, stored remotely, or seen by anyone but you. The app makes network requests for exactly one purpose: checking and restoring your Notewake Pro purchase.
Nothing about you, and nothing you write. We collect no personal data, no usage data, no diagnostics, and no contact information. We cannot read your notes.
To manage purchases, Notewake uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service acting on our behalf. When you open the upgrade screen or make a purchase, RevenueCat receives:
That is the whole list. Notewake's App Store privacy label reflects it: Purchases and Identifiers, both used only to make the app work, and both marked “Data Not Linked to You”.
Everything Notewake needs lives in your iPhone's own storage, inside the app's private container:
This data is shared with the Notewake widget on your device so it can draw your note on the Lock Screen. It is never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Notewake Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the transaction and tells the app whether a purchase is active. We never see or receive your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We use RevenueCat to record whether that purchase is active, so the app can unlock Pro on your device and restore it if you reinstall or change phone. RevenueCat processes this data on our instructions and receives no payment details either.
The free week is granted and tracked entirely on your device. It involves no account and no card.
Notewake contains no advertising and no tracking. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and never asks for permission to track you. Your data is not sold, and it is not shared with data brokers or ad networks.
RevenueCat, described above, is the only third-party service the app talks to, and it is used solely to manage your purchase.
Notewake is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included, and shows no advertising.
Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. Your notes are yours, on your device: edit them in the app, or delete the app to remove them entirely — we never had a copy.
The only record connected to you is the anonymous purchase record described above. Email us and we will retrieve or delete it. Deleting it does not cancel an Apple subscription — that is done in your Apple Account settings.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of Notewake ever collects anything, we will say so here plainly and before it ships.
